This policy describes how Mr Backflow LLC dba 1-A Occupational Training (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use our websites and online training services (collectively, the “Services”), including the application hosted at our training domain (for example, learn.1aoccupationaltraining.com).
Information we collect
- Account and profile: name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and similar identifiers you provide when you register or we create an account for you.
- Training activity: lesson progress, quiz and assessment results, timestamps, completion records, and certificate-related data needed to document continuing education.
- Payments: if you pay through our Services, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Stripe’s privacy policy governs their handling of payment data.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and cookies or similar technologies used to keep you signed in and secure the site.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide access to courses, track eligibility and completion, and issue certificates;
- Operate, secure, and improve the Services;
- Communicate about your account, enrollments, or support requests;
- Meet legal, regulatory, and audit obligations related to continuing education.
Sharing
We use service providers that process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements, such as hosting (for example, Vercel), database providers (for example, Neon), email delivery, and payment processing (Stripe). We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or security.
Retention
We retain account and training records as needed to document CE completion, support regulatory expectations, and operate the business. Retention periods may depend on course type and applicable rules.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of certain information, subject to legal and operational limits (for example, we may need to retain completion records). Texas residents may have additional rights under applicable state law.
Children
The Services are intended for adults in a professional/work context. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
